Koffe Is Bringing Unapologetic Energy From South Central to the Rap Game and Reality TV

With singles “Get A Grip” and “Broke Bitch Mad,” the 25-year-old Los Angeles rapper is turning her confidence, personality, and reality TV ambitions into something bigger than music.

South Central Los Angeles has never been short on personalities, and rising rapper Koffe is making it clear that she plans to be one people remember.

At 25 years old, the Gemini artist is stepping into a new chapter of her career with a sound she describes as confident, feminine, street-smart, playful, and unapologetic. With two singles, “Broke Bitch Mad” and “Get A Grip,” Koffe is introducing listeners to an artist who refuses to water herself down to fit anyone else's expectations.

But music is only one part of her vision.

Between pursuing reality television opportunities, appearing on Bratz of Long Beach, and auditioning for shows including Baddies Gone Wild, Koffe is positioning herself as both a recording artist and an entertainment personality.

And according to her, the attitude people see isn't an act.

From South Central With Something to Say

For Koffe, music began with a simple motivation: she had things on her mind and wanted the world to hear them.

“What made me start wanting to do music is I had a lot to say and definitely want the world to hear me and to get an idea of who Koffe is through my music,” she explains.

Although she's been rapping for a couple of years, she says 2026 marks a turning point in how seriously she's approaching her career.

“This year is the year I told myself I would take things more seriously and not let anyone interfere. I honestly have a gift and I want to pursue that gift.”

That determination is reflected in her music, where confident delivery and an outspoken personality take center stage.

When asked to describe her sound, Koffe doesn't hesitate.

“Real confident, feminine, street smart, and playful with a don't play with me attitude.”

As for her influences? She jokingly credits her Gemini personality and its many different sides.

Koffe Isn't a Character. She's Just Turned All the Way Up.

In an industry where artists often create larger-than-life personas, Koffe insists that what audiences see is an extension of who she already is.

“Honestly Koffe is naturally me. From my government name down on to my personality. The music just gives me a place to turn it all the way up.”

She describes herself as outspoken, confident, playful, and someone who doesn't hold her tongue.

“It's either I'm all in or not at all. It's no in between with Koffe and that goes for anything.”

The recording booth simply gives her permission to amplify those traits.

“I'd say Koffe is the most unapologetic version of me and my music just brings it out more.”

That energy is especially noticeable in her recent releases.

“Broke Bitch Mad”: Turning Negativity Into a Statement

Koffe's single “Broke Bitch Mad” takes inspiration from Natalie Nunn, her own experiences at reality television auditions, and the criticism she's encountered while pursuing her goals.

Rather than allowing negativity to discourage her, she decided to turn it into music.

“I wanted to turn that energy into something different in Koffe's way. Something fun, confident and unapologetic.”

The record is built around a straightforward message: other people's opinions aren't going to stop her from doing what she wants.

“It's basically me saying you can be mad, but I'm still going to be me, still look good, still get money, and still do what I want.”

Despite the provocative title, Koffe explains that the song isn't necessarily about someone's financial situation.

For her, being broke can also describe a person's mentality.

“It's not about financials with me. It's more so about bitter and jealousy because they see me doing better, looking good, getting the right attention.”

She specifically points to people hiding behind fake social media accounts to criticize others instead of focusing on their own progress.

The result is a record designed to be both a personal statement and something listeners can turn up to.

“Get A Grip” Shows Where Koffe Is Headed Next

While “Broke Bitch Mad” introduces Koffe's confrontational side, her collaboration “Get A Grip,” featuring NovemberFinnest_, represents the musical direction she wants to explore further.

Interestingly, the collaboration came together organically during a studio session.

“We was in the studio, we was too lit, so I asked her to do adlibs because her voice was perfect hype for the song and she agreed.”

What started as a spontaneous creative decision became a collaboration that Koffe believes represents her evolving identity.

“Honestly Get A Grip would introduce Koffe and represents where I'm headed musically.”

She describes that direction as confident, feminine, catchy, playful, and unapologetic, while still giving her space to demonstrate her rapping ability and different sides of her personality.

For listeners discovering her music for the first time, “Get A Grip” is the record she recommends starting with.

Reality TV Is Part of the Bigger Picture

Koffe's entertainment ambitions stretch beyond recording studios and music videos.

She's been interested in acting and reality television since she was 13 years old.

After appearing on Bratz of Long Beach, she says her confidence grew, encouraging her to pursue additional opportunities, including auditions for Baddies Gone Wild.

“I've always wanted to be on reality TV and do movies since I was 13 years old.”

For Koffe, being on camera gives audiences an opportunity to experience the personality behind her records.

“My expressions, confidence and the way I carry myself help people understand Koffe beyond just hearing a song.”

But she also understands the challenge of balancing a reality television identity with a serious music career.

“I think the key is using that exposure to introduce people to my music, NOT letting reality TV define me as an artist.”

It's a distinction she wants to make clear as she continues building her name.

More Than a Bad Attitude

One of the first things visitors notice on Koffe's Instagram profile is her self-description: “Bad Bitch w a Bad Attitude.”

But she says there's more behind that statement than people might assume.

“Having a bad attitude to me means I have a really strong personality, I'm outspoken and know what I want and I don't have a high tolerance for disrespect or fake energy.”

She admits that being stubborn and bold can sometimes work against her, but she's learning how to channel those characteristics productively.

That same strong personality can also create misconceptions.

People who only know her through social media, music, or television may assume she's aggressive or difficult to approach.

In reality, she describes herself as much more relaxed.

“I think they realize I'm more chill, goofy, and easy to talk to than expected.”

It's another example of the contrast Koffe wants people to understand: there's more to her than the loudest moments audiences see.

Fighting to Be Taken Seriously as an Artist

For Koffe, one of the biggest obstacles has been convincing people to recognize her creative abilities instead of focusing solely on her appearance or personality.

“I think [the hardest part] is getting people to take me serious for my talent and not just for their own reasons.”

She acknowledges that her personality naturally attracts attention, but she doesn't want that attention to overshadow the work she puts into her craft.

“I've had to prove that I'm more than just somebody that can entertain. I'm an artist, I write my own lyrics, I perform and I have my own sound and identity.”

That commitment to maintaining control of her identity is central to how she approaches the industry.

Koffe isn't interested in copying another artist's blueprint.

Instead, she wants to create something recognizable as her own.

“I'm not trying to become the next anybody, I'm building Koffe into something people can recognize immediately.”

The Many Sides of Koffe

Although her recent music emphasizes confidence and attitude, Koffe doesn't want listeners to think that's all she has to offer.

She believes her versatility will become one of her strongest qualities.

“I have a big personality but there's also a softer feminine nonchalant side to me and I'm not afraid to show both.”

She wants the freedom to be playful, vulnerable, outspoken, or laid-back without being confined to one musical identity.

That versatility also extends to entertainment.

She believes her ability to connect with people, communicate naturally on camera, and create memorable moments gives her opportunities beyond music alone.

It's all part of her larger ambition to build Koffe into a recognizable entertainment brand.

What's Next for Koffe in 2026?

As 2026 continues, Koffe says she's focused on expanding her catalog, developing visuals, performing more shows, and pursuing additional opportunities in television and entertainment.

She's also working toward putting together a project that will offer listeners a deeper understanding of who she is.

And while she isn't ready to reveal everything happening behind the scenes, she makes it clear that her plans are bigger than a single release.

“I don't want people to just know one song or one moment. I want them to know Koffe.”

Her long-term goal is to create a legacy built around authenticity, personality, and individuality.

She also hopes her journey encourages other women to be comfortable taking up space without apologizing for who they are.

“I want other women to feel like they can take up space, be unapologetically themselves and still create their own lane just like I'm doing.”

And when it's all said and done, Koffe already knows how she wants her story remembered.

“Koffe didn't come into the game trying to be the next anybody. She came in and made people remember who KOFFE was.”

Tap In With Koffe

For anyone just discovering Koffe, she recommends starting with three things:

  1. “Get A Grip” featuring NovemberFinnest_ — The best introduction to her evolving musical direction.

  2. “Broke Bitch Mad” — A showcase of her outspoken personality and unapologetic attitude.

  3. Her Baddies Gone Wild Season 2 audition footage — A chance to experience the personality behind the music.

“In 10 minutes I want you to hear the artist, feel the attitude and meet the person behind it.”
